The Summit Orthopaedic Residency will provide an advanced evidence-based curriculum to qualified orthopaedic physical therapists to train orthopaedic specialists that exhibit high standards of clinical practice and provide enhanced patient care to the patients we serve. The program is committed to continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
Agreement Duration / Length of Program
The residency duration is a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 48 months to accommodate work life balance.

The Summit Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency’s goals are to:
Provide an advanced education to train orthopedic physical therapist who provide specialist-level patient care and clinical education to advance the skills of other clinicians.
Provide mentoring for residents to develop specialist-level knowledge and skills.
Provide the opportunity for the resident to deliver clinical education to other clinicians.
Model lifelong learning, service, and leadership to the residents.
Maintain ABPTRFE accreditation.
