At The Summit Physical Therapy, we believe the next generation of physical therapists should be developed in an environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, mentorship, and compassionate care. Our internship program is designed to give the Doctor of Physical Therapy students an exceptional hands-on experience that prepares them for a successful career.
Interns participate in a curriculum aligned with the APTA’s Clinical Practice Guidelines, ensuring evidence-based care is at the center of every patient interaction.
Each intern is paired with experienced clinical instructors who provide daily teaching, structured feedback, and guidance rooted in the clinical practice guidelines established by the Orthopaedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Serving the Central Valley means exposure to a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, as well as the opportunity to work in a culturally diverse community.
